The Gibson Chair, the original of which I found in a mid century store in Copenhagen, has been a favourite since the day I bought it. I use this armchair at my desk and I find I can sit for hours without any discomfort. On the other hand, the Gibson can be used as a dining chair and its waisted form relieves one from looking at a sea of backs. Ask me for a design solution for a dining table with twelve chairs and this is my choice.
