Bamboo Inlaid lamps: The bodies are formed from wood turnings and then covered in an acrylic base coat. The background color is added and then each piece of bamboo is selected, cut to size and hand applied. Once this step has been completed, the balance of area on the body is covered in a clear acrylic until these areas are the same level as the bamboo. Once this is accomplished, an additional level is added to create a smooth exterior.
